Editor's Note

welcome to our women’s month edition, we are excited to bring you amazing ”female” international performing artists as they flourish, raising Mzansi flag globally. On 9 August 1956, about 20 000 women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest against legislation aimed at tightening the apartheid government’s control over the movement of black women in urban areas, this year we would like to celebrate a musician who fought for
creatives rights ”Abahlali base NAC”. Townships have a lot to offer when it comes to entertainment from fashion, live performances and a local brewing
competition called ” Brew 4 Change”. Being an artist does not mean you have to focus on just one talent one of our articles shows that you can be a multitalented artist, from stage to the kitchen, which makes you to have more revenue streams with a basic skill of entrepreneurship will you be able to reach your goals. The community always wanted change when it comes to local municipality representatives, they have decided to vote for an artist to represent artists in their ward ”Ward council committee Sports, Recreational, Arts and Culture” and theres growth when it comes to digital skills as the masterclass of educating youth as already started within the digital hub.
